I tried signing up for this, but I only received a bunch of spam email... same as when I signed up for Pine Cone Research, and Synovate. Spam, spam, spam. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong.

I tell my fans to create an email address just for freebies and coupons. Unfortunately, almost all companies sign up for a newsletter and will continue to email you if they are offering something for free.
Freeflys sends you emails to let you know what is available. Its not always spam.
I've been with pinecone and synovate for a longtime and never receive spam. They send me several emails throughout the day for surveys that are available. they pay you for each one.
Most emails do have a link at the bottom that states you can unsubscribe if you want.
